Hall third in Brazil on Web.com

Victorian Ashley Hall has continued his excellent run of form to finish third at the Brasil Champions presented by HSBC on the Web.com Tour at Sao Paulo Golf Club. The 31-year-old finished with rounds of 65-64-65-70 (-20) to be five strokes behind winner, American Jon Curran. Hall&aposs run of good results now stretches back to the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Pines where he finished sixth. He finished in the top 10 at the Emirates Australian Open and fourth at the NZ Open and made the cut comfortably in his first two Web.com Tour events in Colombia (T29) and Chile (T12). The third place finish lifts Hall to No 6 on the Web.com Tour&aposs Top 25 Money List. Winner Curran needed only a 2-under-par 69 on the final day to cap off a record week with a four-stroke win. Curran jumped out in front with a 10-under 61 in the first round at the Sao Paulo Golf Club and never looked back in a wire-to-wire win, only the second on Tour in the past six-plus years.
