Launceston Golf Club’s Tammy Hall won her thirteenth Judy Elphinstone title following the third and fourth rounds conducted today at Devonport.
Hall carded rounds of 79, 40, 77 and 40 to win the event by two strokes from Tasmania Golf Club junior Georgia Milbourne.
Milbourne shot rounds of 78, 40, 81 and 39 on her way to a 54-hole total of 238.
State team and Port Sorell Golf Club member Sharon Crowden placed third on 240.
Longford Golf Club’s Lindsay French has finished five strokes in front of Flinders Islands’ Kellie Thomas to win this year’s Tasmanian Women’s B Grade Championship.
French shot a fantastic first round of 83 and followed up in the second with 103.
Tea Tree Golf Club’s Brenda Saltmarsh has won the Tasmanian Women’s C Grade Championship by a massive 10 strokes.
Saltmarsh carded rounds of 103 and 112 to finish in front of Claremont Golf Club’s Jenny Brumby in second place on 225.
Ulverstone Golf Club’s Rosemary Paton won this year’s Women’s Senior Amateur.
Paton won the championship with rounds of 83 and 91, a 36-hole total of 174.
Paton finished seven strokes in front of her nearest rivals Penelope Evetts from Seabrook and local member Jane Donohue on 181
