Heidelberg & Waverley in Junior Pennant Final

Heritage and Heidelberg faced off in the semi-finals of the GV junior pennant at Kew Golf Club today.

Heidelberg young gun Max Charles made the turn 9 up, the 7 marker was having a day out to the dismay of the Heritage captain Cody Marx. Charles finished the match 9 & 8 and was 2 under par at that point.

Heidelberg captain Toby Walker lead well making the turn 3up on opponent Shae Marx and finishing the match 3 up with 1 to play.
Marc Massarotti and Liam Moutney battled it out all day being square through 9. Massarotti eventually won the game 1 up.
Todd Wilkinson was 4 up through the turn on Keeley Marx, however Marx kept playing to her strengths and managed to hold off Wilkinson. Wilkinson eventually won the game 2 up taking the Heidelberg tally to 3 games to The Heritages 1.
Heidelberg’s James Evans beat Montana Lewis 1 up after being 2 down through 9 to give Heidelberg 4 games and a place in the Junior Pennant Final on Sunday. Adam Carafa was the Heritages second and strongest win beating Heidelberg youngster Levi Charles 4 & 3. 
In the Riversdale and Waverley match Alice Fan and Waverley captain Kurtis Flakemore where all square going through 9 but the very impressive Fan finished the match 3 up with 2 to play to give Riversdale their only game win. 
It was all downhill from there with Waverley dominating the Riversdale team. Tiana Phan beat Liam Hibbert 6 & 5 after making the turn 3 up. Hassan Korcari won his match against Riversdale captain Henry Fewell 4 & 3.
Ethan David beat Christian Chierego 2 & 1 after leading 1 up through the turn. Dylan Phan beat Phoenix Campbell 1 up and Hannah Mourant beat Blair Mason 1 up for a 5/1 win and place in the Final against Heidelberg on Sunday at Kingston Heath.
