Australian Scott Hend has snared the joint lead of the Indonesian Masters after the first round on Thursday. Hend&aposs action-packed day included six birdies and a double-bogey at the 5th hole which he immediately backed up with an eagle at the par-four 6th. The Australian ended the day with a six-under-par 66 to share first position with South Korean Inn-choon Hwang who reeled off nine birdies which were offset by a bogey at the 15th and double-bogey at the 17th. It was a great start to the tournament for the Australian contingent with Scott Barr, Unho Park and David Lutterus all two shots further back on four under in a share of fourth position with four other competitors. Austrian Bernd Weisberger was outright third after he carded a five-under round of 67.
