Rachel Hetherington is in the hunt for the Kraft Nabisco Championship with an impressive three-under-par 69 in the tournament&aposs second round. The Australian had a horror opening to the event in California with a 76 to kick off proceedings. However, she turned it all around with one of the rounds of the day to comfortable make the cut. Hetherington moved into a share of 22nd place, but sits six shots off the pace set by the dominant Lorena Ochoa and co-leader Heather Young. Ochoa, the world No.1, carded a one-under-par 71 to maintain her place at the head of the field while Young had 70. Seeking a second consecutive major championship, Ochoa made two bogeys in her last six holes to give up the outright lead. Three-time champion Annika Sorenstam of Sweden posted a 70 to be in a tie for fifth with Korean Han Hee-won (69). Hetherington led the Australian contingent, with Karrie Webb a further stroke adrift after posting a 70. “It was a good day and I can&apost complain,” Ochoa said. “I did my best and there were a few putts out there that hurt me but that&aposs the way it is. It&aposs a major championship.”
