Higginbottom wins Victorian Boys’ Amateur

Higginbottom fired rounds of 74-72-76-73 to finish three strokes ahead of Victorian Sean Ong and seal victory. The Australian Golf Club member recently returned from representing Australia at the Toyota World Junior Cup in Chukyo, Japan. Mitchell Sheather (Long Island) finished in third place, just ahead of a four-way tie for fourth between Luke Petherick, Damon Stephenson, Sam Daley and Josh Cabban. Travis Sharpe (VIC) won the title in 2009.
