Golf Australia Rookie Squad member Whitney Hillier has qualified for next month&aposs RICOH Women&aposs British Open at St Andrews. “It&aposs been a massive goal since I carried Lorena Ochoa&aposs leaderboard on the last day when she won there in 2008. Now I&aposm in the field amongst it all – it&aposs Major time! Dreams really do come true,” Hillier said. The Western Australian has enjoyed a positive year on the Ladies European Tour so far, culminating in her tie for third at the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open in June. The result lifted Hillier, in her rookie year on Tour, to 15th on the ISPS Handa Ladies European Tour Money List, earning her place at the home of golf in August. Hillier has moved up 380 places on the Rolex Women&aposs World Rankings since January and is now ranked 260 in the world.
