The second of the short holes is the shortest of the par threes but it has perhaps the biggest green. It also has a green where the pin can be hidden away in corners and with a short club in hand it’s tempting to aim at a flag that is surrounded bunkers and swales that make it really difficult to save a par if you miss the green. It is not particularly difficult to hit the centre of the green but that in not where the pin will be and those hoping for birdies will need to fly their eights, nines and wedges into the corners of the green.
It is an aggravating hole to make a bogey but more than a few will manage.
