Hole 9 – Victoria Golf Club – Par 5

uot;left" />Any hole playing close to 500 meters is a long one even for the best players. Here though there is some help so long as the second shot catches the top of the hill and earns the run down toward the big and, unusually for Victoria, flat green.

For some reason the pitch into the green is difficult to judge and to get close. The shot is marginally uphill, it isn’t particularly well defined by the bunkers and it remains a mystery to even the most experienced players. Some will get it right but just as many will wonder why such a simple looking shot is so difficult to get exactly right.
