Holiday Clinics a success for Patterson River

The recent school holidays in Victoria were a busy time for Patterson River s teaching professional, Paul Boxall, as the club was inundated with junior golfers looking to improve their skills. Originally scheduling only three clinics, Paul was forced to add another session due to the high demand! Running from 9:00am 3:30pm like a normal school day, the clinics were broken down into various segments and were aimed at both beginners and more advanced children who had attended previous clinics. Perhaps the highlight of each clinic was the chance to hit the golf course after lunch to play a few holes! Paul ran the participants through an Ambrose style of game and it was a great opportunity to introduce them to the correct course etiquette. In total, around 40 children attended the clinics and all were in agreement that it was a great way to keep the kids occupied during the holidays!
