Hundred Hole Hike callout to all extreme golfers

As dawn breaks over the greens at 13th Beach Golf Links on January 23 2015, golfers from around the Geelongregion will be teeing off for a mammoth challenge – walking 100 holes of golf in one day for the Karingal Hundred Hole Hike (HHH).

With just five available spaces left in this year’s event, Golf Victoria is urging golfing enthusiasts to either sign up to take part or sponsor a player in the event.

Apart from a love of golf and an appetite for a challenge, players are undertaking this incredible feat to help community organisation Karingal establish a Clubhouse at the Eastern Geelong Community Centre to support people across the Barwon region who have an acquired brain injury (ABI).

Karingal offers a range of services for people in the Geelong region with a disability or mental illness, older Australians and those who are disadvantaged. As part of this work, Karingal offers services specifically tailored to support people who have an ABI and their families.

Any players interested in signing up for the 2015 Karingal HHH event can contact Lindal Farnsworth at Karingal on 03 5249 636503 5249 6365 or via email, lindalf@karingal.org.au.
