If you Saso

As the Sportscover Victorian Junior Masters edges closer to its final day, the tournament shifts as the players face a completely new course and a new opportunity to claw back some of those dropped shots from yesterday. With no clear overnight leaders, in either of the fields, todays third round does prove pivotal to the overall outcome of the tournament.

In the girls section the overnight leader Yuka Saso (Philippines) has extended her lead quite significantly, with a statement score of 71 (-2) in todays third round. Yuka cruised through the front nine as she added 4 birdies and just a single bogey to her scorecard. Unfortunately the other members of her group, the chasing group, began to move in the opposite direction. The back nine proved to be of a similar story, with the conclusion of play halting the lead at a margin of five.

It was a slightly different story in the boys section with some movement at the top shifting a few names around. Overnight leader James Walker proved he was a player in control as he turned in a comfortable, put impressive 34 (-2). Walker continued that form into the back nine signing for another nice round of 71 (-1). Bitting at his heels though are a trio of interstate players keen to take a trophy on the flight back home. Franck Vucic (SA) led that interstate charge as he signed for the round of the tournament 66 (-6), leap frogging a number of players and well into contention. Tyler Duncan (QLD) and Jackson Kalz (SA) are also not too far behind as they prepare for the final round tomorrow.

Round 4 will be live streamed starting at 8.30am. Tune in early to make sure you catch as much of the action as possible.
