IMPORTANT CHANGE TO AFFILIATION FEES 8th Nov 2013 Dear Clubs, At Golf SA s 5th Annual General Meeting held recently a resolution was passed to bring the Association s affiliation fee collection into alignment with that of Golf Australia s constitutional requirements. The fee payable to Golf Australia and the State Associations is based on levying Clubs a fee based on the number of golfers (members) that the Club has. A golfer is defined as any individual member of any category of membership of an affiliated golf club that allows that member to play golf. An individual member under 18 years of age as at the stipulated date is deemed a junior golfer. Each golfer is required to pay such a levy or levies at each club that he or she is a member. Therefore, with effect January 2014 Golf SA will require Clubs to pay affiliation fees based on the number of golfers (defined above) in that Club, regardless of whether the individual is a member of one or more golf clubs.
