Inclusive Golf Championships a big hit at Redcliffe

Golf Queensland’s 2018 Inclusive Golf Championships were played under scorching conditions at the Redcliffe Golf Club on Sunday 11 February.

Despite the extreme weather conditions, competitors enjoyed a good day out, as laughter and friendly banter could be heard around the course from the 24 participants who relished the opportunity to compete and learn more about the game of golf.

The championships consisted of a single stableford event for the 18-hole players and a fun 8-hole ambrose competition for those players wanting to participate in a team format.

Dr. Brad Carver took out the main event with a sizzling 42 points.

Congratulations to all participants for braving the heat and making the 2018 Golf Queensland Inclusive Championships a success.
