Charley Jacobs (Ardrossan GC) & Joseph Hodgson (Kooyonga GC) have taken out the second girls & boys Junior Open. This is the second of five Junior Summer events.
Players faced hot conditions throughout the competition with the first 18 holes at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club and final round at The Grange Golf Club.
Jacobs, playing off a handicap of eight, claimed the girls open with rounds of 79-75 (154), 7 strokes ahead of the first Junior Open winner, Jin-young Yun (The Grange) who had rounds of 79 & 82 (161)
Shakira-Ann Kuys (HCap 18) from Port Augusta GC claimed the net event with net scores of 67 & 71 (138).
In the Boy’s Junior Open, Hodgson claimed the title on the first playoff hole against previous winner Jamie Smith. Hodgson shot rounds of 76, 75 for a combined total of 151
Jordan Percey (Thaxted Park GC) with a net total of 141 won the net aggregate event with rounds of 76 & 65.
