Charley Jacobs (Ardrossan/Glenelg GC) & Jackson Kalz (Glenelg GC) have taken out the second girls & boys Junior Open the second event of the Golf SA Junior Summer series.
Players faced hot conditions throughout the competition with the first 18 holes at Tea Tree Gully Golf Club and final round at The Grange Golf Club.
Jacobs, playing off a handicap of two, claimed the girls open with rounds of 81-81 (162), two strokes ahead of Jin-young Yun (The Grange) who had rounds of 82,82 (164)
Amy West (HCap 27) from Mount Osmond GC claimed the nett event with net scores of 82 & 73 (155).
In the Boy’s Junior Open, Junior State Team member Kalz claimed the title with rounds of 70,74 (144). Kalz finished five strokes ahead of Kyle Hayter (Kooyonga GC) 75,74 (149).
Justin Woods from Barossa Valley GC, was the best nett winner with nett scores of 70,70 (140).
