Jager and Woodward tied at top

ROUND 3 RESULTS Overnight leader Matt Jager had his advantage erased in the third round as Victorian Ryan Woodward stormed into a share of the lead with his second consecutive round of 3-under par 69 at the Srixon Australian Men’sStroke Play Championship in Perth. Jager, who opened with rounds of 65 and 70, finished his third round at 1-under par 71 at Lake Karrinyup Country Club to be at 10-under par for the championship with Woodward. Woodward, the winner of the 2009 Geoff Ogilvy Scoring Averages Trophy, added his 69 to earlier rounds of 68 and 69. New Zealander Ryan Fox continued his surge up the leaderboard with a 3-under par 69 taking him into outright third at 8-under par. Victorian Luke Bleumink sits in fourth place at 7-under par following his second consecutive round of 4-under par 68. Defending champion Bryden Macpherson (VIC) is tied with South Australian Jordan Sherratt in fifth place at 5-under par following his third round 3-under par 69. India s Rashid Khan is at 2-under par and one stroke behind Macpherson and Sherratt but six strokes behind the leaders. Korean Jin Jeong, the current Riversdale Cup champion is tied with Tasmanian Ryan McCarthy at 3-under. Victorians Geoff Drakeford and Kieran Pratt are tied at 2-under par with WA local Ryan Peake. The final round begins on Sunday at Lake Karrinyup Country Club.
