Australian Matt Jager is among four players tied at the top of the Solaire Open at the midway point of the Asian Tour tournament in Manila. Jager shot an even-par 72 on Friday at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club, to be level with Thai pair Thammanoon Sriroj and Kwanchai Tannin alongside Taipei&aposs Lin Wen-tang on two-under overall. Sriroj hit a three-under 69 to shoot into contention, while Tannin (71) also went under par while Lin (73) dropped a stroke after his opening-day three under. In a tie for fifth are Canada&aposs Richard Lee, South Korea&aposs Kim Gi-whan, Filipino Elmer Salvador and Thai Pawin Ingkhapradit all on one-under overall. Australia&aposs Unho Park is even par in a tie for ninth after carding a one-under 71 on Friday, to be level with Thai pair Panuwat Muenlek and Gunn Charoenkul. Also on even-par overall through two rounds are Japan&aposs Tetsuji Hiratsuka, the Philippines&apos Carl Santos-Ocampo and Indian Rahil Gangjee. Other Australians in contention include Jake Higginbottom (tied 15th on one over) and Sam Brazel (tied 38th on four over). Ryan McCarthy also made the cut, but is further back on six over in a tie for 53rd.
