nother win for Aussie golf fans, comeback king Jarrod Lyle will play his first Emirates Australian Open in three years at The Australian Golf Club next month.
Fresh from a 31st place in the Frys.com Open (his first PGA Tour event in more than two and a half years), Lyle was excited about continuing his good form into the Australian summer.
"I'm really looking forward to getting back home and playing in front of the big Australian galleries," Lyle said.
“For me, there's nothing quite like the feeling of a home crowd.
"It's been three years since I played an Australian Open and I can't wait to see the revamped Australian Golf Club."
In his last Australian Open at The Lakes in 2011, Lyle was part of a star-studded field that included Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, Fred Couples, Dustin Johnson and Nick Watney. The Victorian led the tournament after round one and finished the week in a tie for fifteenth place.
Fans at The Australian will have access to free earpieces broadcasting AO Radio, the MyGolf interactive zone, the tournament village and a putting competition.
