Calm conditions at Colac Golf Club provided players with the opportunity to make their move in the final round of the 2012 Victorian Par 3 Championships. With many players struggling on Colac’s greens, it was Round 1 leader and defending champion, Jessica Pickwick (Kilmore) that prevailed to be crowned the 2012 Champion with a total score of 120. Pickwick finished five shots clear of nearest competitor Catherine Odgers (Wodonga), and eight shots in front of fellow Kilmore member Sari Saly. In B Grade it was Marcia Williams from Clifton Springs that took out the 36 hole gross event on a count back over Di Sullivan (Warrnambool) with an excellent score of 151. The nett section was won by Colac member Elaine McMaster with score of 102 off a handicap of 33.
