Golf Australia is seeking a full-time commercial sales executive to be based in South Melbourne.
About the Role:
In late 2018, Australian golf took a huge leap forward with Golf Australia’s One Golf structure coming into full effect. The participating state and territory governing bodies benefit from the economies of scale created and can now deliver greater efficiencies which allows Golf Australia to maximise revenue and ultimately invest more back into growing the game and providing support at a grass roots level.
Due to this recent restructure, Golf Australia’s Commercial team now seek a Commercial Sales Executive. The successful incumbent will be responsible for generating corporate hospitality and sponsorship sales whilst delivering a high level of account management to a dedicated group of engaged partners, to ultimately achieve their commercial partner’s business objectives.
Key Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Sales Executive that has:
– Proven success in a sponsorship and hospitality sales, renewal management and account servicing related role.
– Confidence in commercial negotiations, facilitation and first-class presentation skills to corporate partners, to acquire and retain mid-tier level sponsorship arrangements.
– An ability to measure return on investment and manage campaign analytics to compile annual partner reports, whilst utilising data and insights to continually improve partnership offering.
– Good knowledge of the sports/entertainment landscape
– Assist in the end to end event management and sponsorship deliverables of Golf Australia’s major events
– A hunger to be in the market driving new business, networking and identifying commercial opportunities.
