Brendan Jones has fired a three-under-par 68in his final round to finish in a tie for fourth place at the Tsuruya Open in Hyogo, Japan. Jones was looking to win this event for the fourth time, and sent a scare through the leaders when he picked up five shots in his last four holes, but dropped shots through the middle of his round ultimately cost him any chance of winning. Jones finished four shots adrift of champion S.K. Ho, who captured his seventh Japan Golf Tour victory with a one-shot victory over fellow Korean Kyung-Tae Kim. Overnight leader Hiroshi Iwata appeared set for victory when he held the lead with just two holes remaining, but the 27-year-old double-bogeyed both holes, which allowed both Ho and Kim to pass him. The only other Australian to make the cut, Craig Parry, finished in a tie for 32nd place, while New Zealand&aposs David Smail had a good weekend to finish at three-under and tie for 18th place.
