Australian Brendan Jones has finished second in the Japan Golf Tour Championship at the Shishido Hills Country Club. Jones was unable to make any inroads into Hidemasa Hoshino&aposs five-stroker overnight lead on the final day. Hoshino matched Jones&apos final round of 70 and finished five strokes clear on 12-under. Jones shared second place with Takao Nogami. Scott Laycock, who carded a five-under-par 66 on the final day for a share of 23rd place on four-over, was the next best-placed Australian ahead of Chris Campbell and Craig Jones, who were 46th on 11-over. Craig Parry had a disastrous Sunday, dropping nine strokes with an 80 to finish on 13-over.
