Nominee Name: Ella Adams MYGolf Centre: McCormack s Junior Golf Club State: SA Age: 14 Despite only turning 14 this month, Ella Adams from McCormack s Junior Golf Club in South Australia already has an enviable list of achievements. Adams, also a member at The Grange Golf Club, is one of the few MYGolfers in Australia who has completed the gold level of the Skills Challenge resulting in McCormack s developing their own sapphire level to keep her engaged in the program. Jan Douglass, Centre Coordinator at McCormack s, believes Adam is the ideal role model for the younger participants in the program. She is polite, courteous and supportive, displays the ideal etiquette and plays as often as she can, said Douglass. Adams was also a lucky winner of the PGA s Pump Golf competition in 2012, earning herself a spot at Twin Waters during the Festival of Golf where she was successful in winning the scratch prize for the girls event. The skills Adams has developed whilst involved in the MYGolf program have not gone unnoticed and she is now a pennant player for The Grange and has also recently represented South Australia in Western Australia with the junior team and also in Tasmania with the senior team. Ella Adams has had a remarkable year! She has achieved so much for a young girl, said Douglass.
