Golf Australia, State Associations and Junior Foundations provide programs to assist golfers who wish to develop their game to the fullest potential. Many clubs also devote considerable resources to player development, and encourage individual golfers to play in open tournaments, inter-club competitions, State-level coaching camps, and State and National tournaments. An extensive and successful talent identification and development pathway has been structured within Australian golf from Entry Level to Tour Professional.
