Kang dominates in Tasmania

By Alistair Hogg Haeji Kang held firm today to finish 11 under the card and complete a spectacular wire-to-wire victory at the Australian Junior Girls Amateur in Ulverstone, Tasmania. Leading from start to finish, the Queenslander had a final round 71 to take the title by a massive seven strokes ahead of Tasmanian Ashley Dewhurst who shot an even par 73 to finish four-under. Fellow Queenslander Cecilia Nha went around in 72 to wrest third place from West Australian Whitney Hillier who faded with a final round 76. Hillier was joined by Victorian Grace Lennon and Justine Lee of NSW in equal fourth, even with the card.
