Robert Karlsson kept his spot atop the OHL Classic at Mayakoba leaderboard on Saturday, but he was joined on 15 under by Harris English. Play was uninterrupted all day for the first time at this year&aposs tournament in Mexico as players went about finishing their second rounds and teeing off their third rounds – although no-one is yet to be through 54 holes. Swede Karlsson completed a four-under 67 for his second round, before going three under through seven in his third when play was called off at El Camaleon in Playa del Carmen. American English birdied his last two holes of his second round to finish on nine-under 62, before also picking up three strokes through seven to match Karlsson. The pair are three shots clear of challengers Rory Sabbatini of South Africa and American Kevin Stadler, with the latter dropping back from his share of the overnight lead after completing an eight-under 63 for his second round before going even par through six of his third. Sabbatini is three under through eight of his third round after a second-round 65. Spain&aposs Alvaro Quiros will only have to play 22 holes on Sunday after he got through 14 of his third round – going six under for the round to be 11 under overall and in a share of fifth spot. Tied with Quiros are Americans Jason Bohn and Chris Stroud, with the former four under through nine and latter eight under through three. Rounding out the top 10 are American quartet Spencer Levin, Justin Leonard, Scott Brown and Charles Howell III – all on 10 under. Levin is six under through 15, Leonard went five under through 14, Brown played nine holes for three under while Howell picked up two shots through eight. Defending champion John Huh is a long way back in a tie for 37th spot on five under overall, with three holes to play in his third round.
