Stacey Keating of Victoria Golf Club has taken the title of Victorian Amateur Champion for 2010. The Victoria Golf Club member defeated Jo Charlton (Metropolitan) 4&3. Keating who took the title in 2006, showed a flawless game of golf today having eight birdies in the morning 18 hole round, to put her 4 holes in front of fellow competitor Jo Charlton (Metropolitan) at the completion of the first morning round. Keating won the Srixon Australian Amateur Championship at Lake Karrinyup Country Club in Perth earlier this year.
