Keating wins Victorian Women’s Stroke Play

AIS/Golf Australia National Squad member Stacey Keating continued her excellent recent form as she won the Victorian Women&aposs Stroke Play Championship at Keysborough Golf Club. Keating finished one stroke ahead of fellow National Squad member and Srixon Australian Amateur champion Justine Lee and South Australian Ebony Heard. Keating finished with rounds of 75-71-68-71 to claim victory and her third round 68 set a new course record at 6-under for the day. There was a seven stroke gap to fourth place with Kingston Heath member Su-Hyun Oh finishing with a final round 1-under par 73. Victorian Breanna Elliott and Queensland&aposs Courtney Massey shared fifth place. The win follows Keating&aposs victories at the Tasmanian Women&aposs Stroke Play in October and Dunes Medal in December. She also claimed Leading Amateur honours at the ActewAGL Royal Canberra Classic and Bing Lee NSW Women&aposs Open on the ALPG Tour in recent weeks. Click here to view final full results.
