Kemp gains LPGA card

Aussie young gun Sarah Kemp has won her LPGA tour card after a miraculous finish at Daytona Beach in Florida. The 21 year old from Tuncurry sunk clutch putts over the final four holes to emerge as the only Australian out of a field of 10 to claim full exemption after the gruelling qualifying school. Kemp&aposs chances appeared to be slipping when she found herself at two-over early in the final round, but she raised her game to another level, sinking some amazing putts in the closing stages to win her card. Although Kemp was the only Australian to claim full LPGA exemption for 2008, Anna Rawson, Sarah-Jane Kenyon, Sarah Oh and Michelle Ellis finished in the Top-52 to win conditional cards.
