Kemp tied for third in China

Thailand&aposs Numa Gulyanamitta leads the Sanya Ladies Open by one stroke after the second round at the Yalong Bay Golf Club in China, while Australian Sarah Kemp is tied for third. Gulyanamitta started the day in second position, but a three-under-par 69 coupled with overnight leader Joanna Klatten&aposs one-over 73, propelled her to the top of the leaderboard. Gulyanamitta (five under overall) leads Frenchwoman Cassandra Kirkland (four under) who is in outright second following her equal-best second round of five under. Kemp and Englishwoman Holly Aitchison are a stroke further back in equal third position on three under. Klatten is now three shots adrift of the lead in a share of fifth spot with six others on two under. English duo Felicity Johnson and Elizabeth Bennett, Spanish pair Carlota Ciganda and Belen Mozo, Yue Xia Lu of China and American Beth Allen are all level with Klatten. Stacey Keating (even) is the next best Australian in a tie for 17th position while her compatriots Frances Bondad (four over) and Nikki Garrett (six over) are further down the pecking order. The other Aussies in the competition, Bree Arthur (seven over), Karen Lunn (10 over) and Rebecca Artis (12 over), all missed the cut.
