Kennedy finishes second at Diamond Cup

Australian Brad Kennedy finished tied for second at the Diamond Cup Golf, while Japan&aposs Hideki Matsuyama won his second Japan Golf Tour tournament of 2013. Matsuyama finished his tournament with a one-under 71 at the Oarai Golf Club in Ibaraki on Sunday, to post a two-stroke victory over Kennedy – who was tied for second on seven-under overall. Also on seven under were Kim Hyung-Sung, and Park Sung-Joon, but the day belonged to Matsuyama – who won his third title on the Japanese tour in the 21-year-old&aposs fledgling career. The next best Australian after Kennedy was Brendan Jones, who finished tied for 23rd on one over after a final-round even par 72. Toru Taniguchi was outright fifth on six under, while a group of three were on five under – including Shingo Katayama, Satoshi Kodaira and Tommy Nakajima. Lee Kyoung-Hoon and IJ Jang rounded out the top-10 in a tie for ninth, on four under.
