Sarah-Jane Kenyon from Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast has had a successful couple of months. The hard work is starting to pay off. Kenyon has spent five years plying her trade on the Duramed FUTURES Tour, the feeder tour to the LPGA which is the most lucrative and revered women&aposs tour on the planet. For each of the past 4 years, the likable Queenslander has attempted to gain exempt status on the LPGA at the expensive (and dreaded) Final Q-School. Last year she managed to finish T20 to earn conditional status on the main tour, but again she was not fully exempt.

In 2008 she has split her time between the FUTURES and LPGA Tour&aposs. In May/June she had a run of 4 Top-5&aposs in a row on the FUTURES Tour before once again tackling the main tour where her results were not quite as good. By August she was back on the FUTURES, and attempting to finish in the Top-5 on the end-of-season money list. And, at the last event she did just that by winning the ILOVENY Championship and moving up to 3rd on the final money list. It was her 2nd career victory to add to her maiden title at the 2005 Tampa Bay FUTURES Golf Classic.

With renewed confidence and assured of her playing rights for 2009, Kenyon has posted some good results in her final events on the LPGA. Her results since then include T6th at the Navistar LPGA Classic and T16th at both the Bell Micro and Kapalua LPGA Classics.
