Billy Cawthorne returned a one-under-par round of 71 to join Garner after he managed a two-over 74.
Western Australia’s Connor Fewkes is placed third on four-under-par, two strokes ahead of Korea’s Chang Gi Lee and Launceston’s Mitch Van Noord.

Overnight leader and newly crowned Tasmanian amateur champion, Grace Kim, continues to lead the 2017 Women’s Tasmanian Open Golf Championship.
The 16-year-old Avondale member carded a six-under-par round of 67 today to lead her nearest rival Kirsten Rudgeley of Western Australia on six-under.
Isabelle Taylor is placed third on five-under-par with fellow Queenslander Lisa Edgar in fourth and Tasmania’s Georgia Milbourne fifth.

Queensland’s Brad Dowling has won the 2017 Men’s Tasmanian Senior Masters at Royal Hobart Golf Club today.
The Southport member fired a final four-over-par round of 76 to win the event by two strokes from fellow Queenslander Stephen Toyne who carded 77.
Local member and overnight leader, Peter Shaw, dropped to third place on the leader board after returning an eight-over 80.

Daubenton carded rounds of 83, 85 and 88 to win the event from fellow Royal Hobart member Anne Medlycott who returned 85, 93 and 84.
Royal Hobart Golf Club’s Wendy Davidson placed third with scores of 90, 90 and 89.
