Kim leads Aussie Griffin

South Korea&aposs Kim Chang-yoon has overhauled Matthew Griffin of Australia at the top of the leaderboard at the SK Telecom Open. Kim produced a blistering 10-under 62 during Friday&aposs second round on Jeju Island, South Korea, to move into the overall lead, while also setting a new course record at Pinx Golf Club. The 29-year-old South Korean finished the day at 14-under overall, one shot ahead of Griffin, while another Australian, Jason Norris, is in third position, a further stroke back. Kim birdied all four par-five holes to finish with 10 birdies, including five in a row starting on the eighth hole, while Griffin, who started the second round at the top of the leaderboard, posted a five-under 67 to end the day on 13 under. Norris matched his first-round score of 66 to sit alone in third position on 12 under, while South Korea&aposs Park Do-kyu claimed fourth at 11 under. Another three locals are tied for sixth on nine under, including Lee Ki-sang, Jeong Jin and Kim Jae-ho. A group of 10 Australians missed the cut on Jeju Island, including Michael Wright, Stephen Leaney and Rohan Blizard.
