Newly crowned state amateur champion Grace Kim of New South Wales leads the Women’s Tasmanian Open following the first round.
The 16-year-old shot an opening round of seven-under 66 to lead Isabelle Taylor of Queensland by one stroke on six-under 67.
Local member and 14-year-old Hallie Meaburn is placed third after carding a two-under-par round of 71.
