King tied for eighth

Jason King shot a one-over par 72 to be the best placed Australian in a tie for eighth after the third round of the Korean Open. King was among the 45 players who had returned early Saturday morning to complete the second round which endured a late tee off on Friday due to heavy fog at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club. The Aussie sitting at four-under par, six shots behind leader Kim Wi-joong. A group of four players including Ryder Cup star Anthony Kim and England&aposs Ian Poulter are in a tie for second place one stroke behind. “I haven&apost found my swing and my putting is not too steady. My game is not where I want it to be but I fought hard and I m looking forward to Sunday,” Kim said. “I am going to play smart until the last four or five holes tomorrow and then I will see where I am in the tournament and go from there.” Poulter, who finished runner-up at the British Open, was pleased with his run of 69 as he hopes to enjoy the final day. “I had two bogeys in the first three holes which was not fun but I got my rhythm on the back nine and made some birdies,” Poulter said. “I hope to play golf, have fun and try to win this tournament. It&aposs a good course and there are some tough holes out there. I am enjoying my first week in Korea and I hope to have fun on the golf course too on Sunday. Aussie duo Rick Kulacz and Tony Carolan are both at even par in a tie for 18th place, while David Gleeson (T26th), Neven Basic (T43th) and Gavin Flint (T57th) are all out of contention.
