King wins APGC Senior Amateur in Perth

KING TRIUMPHS IN PERTH Australian Peter King won the Asia Pacific Senior Amateur Championship at Royal Perth Golf Club on Sunday. King and Roy Vandersluis found themselves in a play-off after King shot a tournament low round of 1 under par 71 in the final round and then clinched victory on the first playoff hole. Australian Men&aposs Senior Amateur champion Stefan Albinski was one stroke further back in third place. In the teams event the Australia Two have come from behind to finish on a total of 459, 3 strokes clear of Australia One. Leaderboard Teams Leadeboard ROUND 2 REPORT Murray Martin from New Zealand leads into the final day with a 4 stroke lead over Australians Roy Vandersluis, Denis Dale, Chris Coats and overnight leader Ian McPherson.
