Kiwi Neal Pitches continues to lead the 2007 MFS Senior Amateur Championship but he now is joined at the top by compatriot Rodney Barltlop after he shot a second round 76. However the pairing from across the ditch is not expected to have it all their way as defending champion Denis Dale and fellow New South Welshman Rick Oliver lurk just one stroke behind. Commonwealth member Alan Buckley is the best placed Victorian at seven-over, three strokes off the pace.
