World No. 1 Lydia Ko has parted ways with her Australian caddie, Jason Hamilton, who has carried the Kiwi's bag for the past two years.
Ko and Hamilton had a lucrative and successful partnership but the Aussie is moving on to caddie for Ha Na Jang of South Korea.
"All Lydia told me was she wanted a different set of eyes out there," Hamilton told Golfweek. "These things happen, it’s part of the game."
Hamilton, a 25-year veteran of looping, has previous caddied for Yani Tseng on the LPGA Tour and also on the PGA Tour of the United States.
He started working with Ko early in 2015 and was with her as she ascended to the No. 1 world ranking.
But the New Zealander has looked to make changes after what amounts to a rough stretch for her recently. She has won four tournaments this year and leads the season-long points race, but was 51st in South Korea last weekend.
