Kulacz holds on to claim SAGA Invitational

Rick Kulacz has won the 2007 SAGA Invitational by one stroke from Queenslander Brett Rankin. Kulacz fired a final round 73 which was just enough to hold off the charge of his rival who shot a superb 69. Glenelg local Ben Tuohy and Victorian Matthew Griffin finished equal third while Aaron Pike, who challenged Kulacz for most of the week had an unfortunate finish, finding the water at the last. The Glenelg course was tough but received a resounding thumbs up from all players. Recent changes to the layout have provided a great challenge to golfers and are a testament to the club. Final scores from the 2007 SAGA Invitational at Glenelg GC: 288: Rick Kulacz (WA) 289: Brett Rankin (QLD) 291: Ben Tuohy (SA), Matthew Griffin (VIC) Click here to view full score summary
