Kulacz tears Keperra apart, Arnold leads

National Squad member Rick Kulacz has equalled the newly-set course record of 63 in the third round of the 2007 Keperra Bowl. The West Australian started the day nine off the pace but positioned himself just two behind the leader and well in contention heading into Friday&aposs final round. Overnight leader Kevin Lee dropped off the pace with an even par round of 72. It would perhaps be unfair to say the Queenslander &aposfaltered&apos but given the rampant low scoring this week, the Oxley member may be ruing some missed opportunities from Thursday&aposs round. Jamie Arnold is the new overall leader at 13-under the card. The National Squad member has shot rounds of 68, 69 and 66 so far to lead from Queenslander Blake McGrory and Australian Amateur Champion Rohan Blizard, who broke the shackles with a third round 67. Aronld is the only player in the field to have carded three-consecutive sub-70 rounds. Kulacz is sitting equal-fourth along with Lee and Australian Amateur Stroke Play Champion, Andrew Dodt. Queensland Junior Tarquin McManus lifted on day three with a superb round of 65. The 17-year old finished seven-under the card to move up to a share of 18th overall. The final round commences 8:00am Friday (AEST) at Keperra Golf Club. Click here for a full leader board
