Kyogle GC finds the fence fits

A bunch of hardy members at Kyogle Golf Club have banded together to replace a section of the club’s boundary fence just before the holiday break after the NSW Golf Foundation approved an application for assistance from the Northern Rivers District Club.

Despite the summer heat, The group of seven put aside the Christmas celebrations to ensure the job was complete before Christmas. The team began work on the project on the 18th of December and had it done by the 20th.

“As you can see, it is a great improvement on what was there,” Club Secretary Mary Garred said.

It is the second grant the Club has received in the past 12 months following the devastating floods of April 2017.

“We are very grateful to the board of the NSW Golf Foundation for considering our grant,”

“We realise how fortunate we are to have had both of them approved.”

“We would like to say thank you to each and every Foundation member.” Ms Garred smiled.
