Lacey wins LET Q-School, Bondad also wins card

West Australian Dana Lacey has won the final stage of Ladies European Qualifying while Frances Bondad finished outright third to win full playing rights for the 2008 season. It was a superb effort from Lacey who carded a final round of 67 to give her victory by one stroke and undoubtedly a confidence boost ahead of the forthcoming summer of golf. Bondad meanwhile will be thrilled with her performance having only recently graduated from the Golf Australia National Squad. Fellow graduate Kate Combes made the final round of qualifying, but shot a 73 to finish in a share of 34th, only marginally outside of the top 30 places required to win full playing rights on the Tour. Bronwyn Mullins-Lane was also just outside the top 30, finishing equal-31st but also earned a conditional LET card which will see her and Combes given restricted opportunity to play events.
