As a new initiative for 2018, each club was also invited to be represented by up to four people, including the Club Captain, Club President and an additional two women who were either Club Committee/Board representatives or Women’s office bearers.
Golf Victoria strongly desires to encourage women from as many Melbourne clubs as possible to be involved with the day and interact with their counterparts on all the common golf issues, particularly the attraction and retention of players to club membership. Pleasingly over 50 women participated in today’s event.
The 2019 Victorian Captains and Presidents Day will be played at the Yarra Yarra Golf Club on Friday 8 November.
