Australia&aposs top two amateur players, Minjee Lee and Su-Hyun Oh, will need tidy second rounds to book their places for the weekend at the Kraft Nabisco Championship at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. Oh, the world&aposs fifth-ranked amateur, finished with a first round 2-over par 74 to be tied for 55th place. The Victorian mixed four bogeys with two birdies and was 1-under par through the front nine before a late stumble saw her bogey the 16th and 17th holes. She had 33 putts and hit 14 greens during her round. For compatriot Lee, the Western Australian is tied in 69th place and will need a strong second round after her opening round 75. Despite an early birdie to go to 1-under through her opening 3 holes, the Royal Fremantle member bogeyed three consecutive holes from 13-15 and a double bogey at the par-3 17th had her out in 40. A birdie on the 4th hole on the way in gave her a decent chance of making the weekend. China&aposs Shanshan Feng leads the championship at 6-under par with play still in progress on the West Coast. Australia&aposs Karrie Webb is still out on course while Katherine Kirk and Lindsey Wright both endured poor first rounds, slipping to 6-over and 8-over respectively. Progress scores 1.Shanshan Feng (CHN) 66 T54. Su Hyun Oh (AUS) 74 T70. Minjee Lee (AUS) 75
