They emerged as superstars together and Australia's Minjee Lee and Su Oh are back in the mix at the same time at the LPGA Tour's BMW Championship in South Korea.
Lee, who led through the first round in Busan, dropped off the top of the leaderboard but is still tied-fourth after a second-round 70, two-under par.
Two early bogeys saw her lose the lead but she rallied with four birdies overall to be eight-under par, just two shots from the lead held by American Danielle Kang.
Oh, who has had a breakout year, also shot a two-under par 70 to sit at six-under overall, on the edge of the top 10 and right in the mix.
Lee and Oh were great rivals in their amateur days, both members of the Karrie Webb squad and in the Australian team that won a Queen Sirikit Cup before turning professional.
Perth's Hannah Green is off the pace at two-over par through two rounds.
