Lee third on LPGA

Australia's Minjee Lee has finished third in the LPGA Tour's Indy Women In Tech Championship in Indianapolis today.

Lee logged her eighth  top-10 finish of the year with a final-round 67.

At 14-under par she finished five shots from the runaway winner, American Lexi Thompson, who moved ahead of former world No. 1 Lydia Ko on the final day. New Zealander Ko was a shot ahead of Lee in second place.

Another Aussie, Su Oh, carded a final-round 67 to move into the top 20.

For both players, it was a perfect warm-up for the season's fifth and final major, the Evian Championship in France next week.

Of the other Aussies, maintained her consistent season with another T30 finish, while Katherine Kirk closed with a 69 to share 42nd.

And while it wasn't the weekend Sarah Kemp dreamed of, her one-under finish gave her a second cheque of a trying LPGA Tour season.
