Australia's Minjee Lee has made a great start in her quest for a win to top off a consistent LPGA Tour season by taking a share of the lead in the KEB Hana Bank Championship in South Korea.
Lee, who has eight top-10s for the season already, fired an opening 66 with eight birdies and two bogeys at the Ocean course at Sky 72 golf club in Incheon.
The Perth 21-year-old made birdies at three of the final four holes, closing it out by hitting her second shot on the par-five 18th on to the green and two-putting to pick up another shot.
"I've had a pretty solid year." Lee said. "It would be nice to have a win for the remainder the season. That will be my goal."
She shares the lead with world No. 2 Sung Hyun Park and Korean Tour player Min Sun Kim at six-under.
World No. 1 So Yeon Ryu began with an even-par 72 and her main rival for player-of-the-year honors, American Lexi Thompson, had a three-under par 69.
Of the other Australians in the field, Su Oh was the most prominent with a 72.
