Leishman comes in seventh

Australian Marc Leishman has finished in a tie for seventh place at the Nationwide Tour Championship in McKinney, Texas. Starting the day four shots off the lead, Leishman closed in on the leaders with three birdies in five holes on the front nine. But three bogeys and just two birdies on the back nine took him to a one-under par final round of 70 and an overall score of 12-under to finish five shots behind winner Matt Bettencourt. The American birdied the final hole to finish one shot clear of compatriot Jeff Klauk, with Colt Knost and Bryce Molder a further stroke behind. Aron Price shot up the leaderboard with a six-under par final round to move into a tie for 16th with fellow Aussie Gavin Coles at nine-under overall. Greg Chalmers and Won Joon Lee both shot four-under par in their final rounds to finish in a tie for 25th, while Jarrod Lyle finished 30th.
